- March 20: Absentee Voting opens for Primary Elections: You may vote in the City Clerk's office on the second floor of City Hall, 688 Hwy 90, Bay St. Louis. It's open from 8am - 5pm weekdays and Saturdays (April 22nd and 29th) from 8am to noon. You must be registered to vote and bring a photo id (requirements here).
- April 1: Registration Deadline for Primary Election
- April 29: In‐Person Absentee Voting Deadline for Primary, 12:00 p.m.
- May 1: Absentee ballots for primary election returned by mail MUST BE RECEIVED by the Municipal Clerk’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m. This is not a postmark deadline but an actual receipt deadline.
- May 2: Primary Election Day
- May 6: Voter Registration Deadline for General Election, 12:00 p.m.
- May 16: Primary Runoff Election Day for Municipal Offices.

Don't forget to bring your voter ID!
If you drove to the polls, you just have to show your driver's license. If you don't drive, click here to see what other IDs you can use. You can also get a free voter ID card by filling out a simple form at the Circuit Clerk's office (at the Hancock County Courthouse, 152 Main Street). More details here.
